Sink Plumbing

A sink is one of the most common plumbing fixtures throughout a home. Bathrooms, kitchens, and occasionally even laundry rooms need sinks to properly function. A clogged, leaking, or otherwise broken sink can cause a lot of headache for you and your family. That’s why Kiddco Plumbing is prepared to aid you with any sink needs you may have.

Bathroom Sink Repair

Having a functioning bathroom sink is crucial for your home. If your sink is leaking or if you’re in need of sink drain repair, we’ll tackle the issue and get it working for you in short order. Attempting sink leak repair on your own can be a dangerous undertaking and risks making the problem worse. Instead, call one of our plumbing experts to fix your problem the right way.

If you’re in need of other bathroom repairs such as for your tub or shower, we’re more than capable of handling that as well.

Kitchen Sink Repair

If you’ve got a leaky faucet or a busted garbage disposal, we’re happy to assist you in all of your plumbing needs. Leaky faucets can lead to massive spikes in your water bill and a broken garbage disposal could lead to clogging in your plumbing fixtures if it’s not able to properly break down food waste.

Similarly, a broken pipe under your kitchen sink could cause water damage to your cabinets or other furniture that the pipe is stored in. Don’t let these problems grow into something more. Our plumbing experts are here to help you fix the problem and if necessary, replace your kitchen sink.

Laundry Room Sink Replacement

If your laundry room has a utility sink that is causing you issues, it might be time for a repair or replacement. Lint or laundry detergent can easily coat your pipes and cause clogs. Loose change and other items from your clothing pockets can also escape through the washing machine’s system and enter the connected pipes of your sink.

If your sink is beyond repair, Kiddco Plumbing is happy to install a new sink for you in your laundry room. We’ll take out the existing sink and re-route your pipes if necessary to make sure everything is fully operational.

“Bobby arrived within the designated appointment window, and was courteous and professional from the outset. The initial job (line check and faucet installation) turned into a much bigger ordeal after one of the sink angle stop valves failed during testing. Bobby kept his cool and got the situation under control; the outcome could have been much worse (significant flooding) with a less experienced plumber. Bobby worked steadily and methodically to resolve all of the new and outstanding issues, and walked me through each repair. At the end of the repair/installation, Bobby made sure I was satisfied with the work before packing up his gear and heading out. I thought the final price was fair given the scope and quality of services performed. I have confidence that Kiddco will stand behind their work, and I appreciated the company sending out a plumber that was already familiar with my condo building.”

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a p trap?

A p trap is the u-shaped pipe that is attached to all sinks and drains. If you open up the cabinet beneath your sink, you will notice the p trap. P traps, which are required by law underneath any drain that is exposed to open air, trap any particles that would otherwise create clogs in the pipes. They also prevent odors from the sewer system from coming out of your drain.

Why is my sink not draining?

The most common cause for a sink that won’t drain is a clog in the pipes. Soap scum, food particles, hair, or other substances can get stuck in the pipes and prevent water from draining through the system. The buildup prevents your drain from working properly.
